In this video we would like to show you how to use the PLC macros from Pilz in EPLAN Electric P8 and how to create a PLC configuration. The macros from the configurable small controller PNOZmulti 2 are used to show how to create a rack overview and PLC overview pages. It also shows how to add PLC inputs and outputs to an emergency stop application, add a bus interface and create a PLC configuration.

You can use Pilz PLC macros with the EPLAN platform 2023. Our PNOZmulti 2 is a modular, flexible safety controller. Due to its flexibility, the controller can be used for up to a certain number of safety functions, without any need to know them. You can use the inputs and outputs without knowing the controller type, as the I/Os are identical due to the EPLAN Data Standard. The same applies to the PLC macros of the automation system PSS 4000.
