Hi all
We made peas kachori (https://www.seevid.ir/fa/w/mzEL_oTA_WA) a couple months ago and today we decided to show a different filling which is spicy potatoes.
Give this one a try for a delicious alternative to the peas, or make both for some variety!
Ingredients
Dough
2 cups flour, sieved
1/4 cup ghee (melted)
1/2 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
3/4 - 1 cup water
oil to coat dough
Filling
2 large potatoes, boiled and mashed
2 tbs oil
1/2 tsp pure chillie powder
1/2 tsp garam masala
1 tsp mixed masala
1/2 tsp jeera seeds
1/2 tsp saunf (fennel) seeds
1/2 tsp mustard seeds
1/2 tsp crushed ginger and garlic
1 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
spring onion
fresh dhania
mint
Serve hot with a dipping sauce of your choice! We used our red chillies pickle made in the style of https://www.seevid.ir/fa/w/yQfOnKYFqG0
