Antidepressants don't work for you for several reasons and we explore some of the reasons why this might be.
Depression is due to several factors, and antidepressants work on the principle that there is chemical imbalance in the brain triggering your depression such as low serotonin levels for instance.
So what if you do not have low serotonin levels? Would antidepressants such as SSRIs like Prozac, Seroxat, Cipralex still work?
Consider Mirtazapine and venlafaxine as alternative treatment options if SSRIs not effective for depression, as well as psychological therapy such as EMDR for PTSD.
