Simon Lancaster is a world-renowned speechwriter, crafting speeches for politicians and businessmen. He gained fame for his fantastic speech in 2016 at TEDx Verona. I encourage you to watch it – simply search "simon lancaster tedx verona speak like a leader" on YouTube. In his 18-minute speech, he passionately explained the importance of effective speaking and even gave an improvised speech on a topic suggested by the audience. This speech was, of course, constructed according to his six-step structure.
What is this structure about? Here are the mentioned six steps:
Step 1: Three breathless sentences or phrases
Step 2: Three repetitions
Step 3: Three balanced sentences
Step 4: Metaphor
Step 5: Exaggeration
Step 6: Rhyme
