Meet Marielle Chrupcala, a first-year drum major and UMass Amherst student. As a woodwind player, Marielle long dreamed of a future in a drum corps but knew her ageout was quickly approaching. All it took was an Instagram post to begin her story. Next thing she knew, she was getting off the plane with a new family, a contract in hand, and a dream realized.
