Healthy Oats Kichidi
masala oats for weight loss

Ingredients:
Oats - 2 cups
Oil - 2 tsp
Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
Garlic - 4 cloves chopped or smashed
Curry leaves
Onion - 1 medium sized
Green chillies - 4 sliced
Turmeric - 1/2 tsp
Salt - as required
Vegetables as much U like -Tomato,Capsicum,Green peas,Beans,Carrot
Water - 6 cups
Black pepper - 1/2 tsp powder
Coriander

Procedure:-

Heat the pan no fry Oats for 3-4 minutes in medium flame.

Heat the Oil in a cooker add mustard seeds, cumin seeds saute for 30 seconds.
Then add garlic, Curry leaves, onions,green chillies saute for 1 minute.

Add all the vegetables, Salt and turmeric mix well and saute for 2 minutes.

Add water once water starts to boil add Oats and pepper. Cover the lid cook for 10-12 minutes or for 2 whistles.

Finally add some coriander and serve hot....
