Can You Use Collagen Powder on Your Hair? | Dr. Janine
In this video, Dr. Janine shows how you can use collagen powder on your hair. She shares a great at-home recipe for a hair mask that uses your favorite collagen powder to help strengthen your hair while you sleep. She demonstrates how to make the mask using collagen powder, hot water, coconut oil, and essential oil. Lastly, Dr. Janine explains how to use the collagen hair mask as a topical overnight treatment to strengthen hair.

Collagen Hair Strengthening Mask
Ingredients
1 scoop Vitatree Collagen Powder
2 tbsp Hot Water
1 tbsp Coconut Oil
10-15 drops Orange Essential Oil
Directions
1) Dissolve collagen powder in hot water.
2) Add coconut oil and essential oil, and mix well.
3) Apply to hair a few drops at a time working from roots to tips (mask will become sticky as it dries).
4) Cover your pillow with a towel, if your hair is longer you may want to tie in a loose ponytail with silk scrunchy and leave it in overnight.
5) Wash hair as normal in the morning.
6) Store in a glass jar or dropper bottle.
