Places to visit:
- Victoria Peak (you should take the tram)
- Tsim Sha Tsui East Promenade
- Small Markets: Temple Street (night), Ladies Market
- Lan Kwai Fong (where there are bars and lots of expats)
- Walk of the Stars (Bruce Lee Statue and footprints of stars)
- Causeway Bay (food and shopping)
- Lantau Island (book a day to visit the village Tai O, the big Buddha, the monastery Po Lin, then to take the cable car to go down)
- Sheung Wang (Central Mid-level, the longest escalator system in the world)
- Man Mo Temple
- Wong Tai Sin Temple
- Ask your friends who have been there before, I'm not a guide
Things to do :
- Sai Wan Beach at Sai Kung
- Star Ferry (night boat)
- Every evening at 8 pm, there are lights on Victoria Harbor
- Ocean Park, if you like amusement parks ^^
Culinary side:
- Restaurant Shia Wong Hip (snake soup if it's your thing I haven't tested it yet but I heard it's like chicken)
- Din Tai Fung Restaurant (Dim Sum)
- Yum Cha restaurant (Dim Sum originals, I personally did not like green and orange buns but the other ones are good)
- Little Bao Restaurant (Bun Burgers)
- Egg Waffle, Egg Tart, Bubble Tea: everywhere
- About noodles: full of super good local restaurants, prefer those with less tourists, this is where there are real thing
Rooftops:
- Ozone bar at the Ritz Carlton: "the highest bar in the world", beautiful view of HK (from 8pm, you have to be proper dressed)
- Cé La Vi Bar
- Eye Bar
- Skye Bar (around Time Square)
- Wooloomooloo bar: there are 2 of them, one with a rooftop, one without, pick the right one if you want to have the view;)
Hidden bars:
- The Iron Fairies
- Portico
- Foxglove
- Fu Lu Shou
