A Day in the Life of an Electrician - EICR Walkthrough, Periodic Electrical Inspection & Testing

We did this EICR in an empty house and wanted to share it with you. So you can see how we do EICRs and what they involve in the real world.
Electrical Installation Condition Reports are something every electrician will get asked to do at some point, some electricians specialise in these.
The problem is that the standard seems to have dropped as many companies offer super cheap EICR's and they are forced to do them extremely quickly because of the low price, this means that electricians like ourselves who do a full, thorough check often get priced out of the market but the super cheap competitors.
The way an EICR should be done is quite clear, and those who do a shortcut version are bringing the standard of our industry down.
