Staffordshire Oatcakes

Staffordshire Oatcakes, a very traditional item from around Stoke-on-Trent in Staffordshire. Eaten in the mornings with cheese, bacon or sausage, and other savoury fillings.  They are also, in my opinion, perfect for serving as a dessert with fruit, syrup and suchlike.  So a very good alternative for Pancake Day/Shrove Tuesday.
