Dayforce stands out for its user-friendliness and as HR solution that’s designed to tackle every aspect of the employee lifecycle.

Nucleus has named Dayforce a Leader in their “HCM Technology Value Matrix” for the last 9 years. They highlight its usability and overall functionality as major strengths. Dayforce provides an integrated suite to deliver core human resources, payroll, benefits, talent management and customer experience, in addition to workforce management. Supporting all this functionality, Dayforce has an organized layout and makes information easily accessible.

What are the top features of Dayforce? Although it’s competent in core HR functions, Dayforce really shines as a Talent Management Suite - getting high scores for Compensation, Learning, Performance, and Succession Management. Dayforce pulls these pieces together with excellent reporting and Dashboards - achieving a score of 100 from SelectHub.

It’s hard to find any real weaknesses with Dayforce - but naturally some of their modules are less comprehensive than others. A case in point is Applicant Tracking & Recruiting where the functionality is less than what is offered by some other solutions. And their Employee Onboarding and Payroll Management features don’t quite match the best of this group. If all you need is Core HR and Payroll, there may be better choices for you. A common complaint reported by users include slow load times. Dayforce could look at optimizing the loading of features and modules. Other annoyances included the need to log Lunch Hours manually, every day – and having problems doing edits for employee times.
