A celebration of the silent
A celebration of the silent era of film, featuring thirty-nine movies from 1916 to 1936.
This doesn't even begin to cover all of the incredible actors, shots and accomplishments of silent movies, but I hope that whatever it is that makes them so great will come through. Thirty-nine movies is also the most I've ever tried to squeeze into one video, so it's an accomplishment of my own lol. But I still wish I could have fit more, especially because there are some notable absences, hugely successful movies and actors that aren't in this video. Maybe, somewhere down the line, I'll be able to make another that features everybody, but I still have a lot to learn about silent movies before that day comes. (Who knows? I've got the whole year ahead of me!)
The song is America's "Right Before Your Eyes," and I don't own it or any of the movies in the video.
I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday, by the way, and please enjoy. :)
