Best Lava Day Ever 1092
Today's best day ever starts of with a very important mission, finding a park that doesn't have a lot of people in it! The house is fun, and we love our backyard, but even so, we can't stay cooped in there forever. So we jump in Jenny's purple Tesla and head out. After a few parks, we finally find one that we know if lots of fun and doesn't have many people here. Fun fact, it's also the park where we filmed Adleys Lava monster video!!
The kiddos start sliding down slides, playing in rope spider webs, and swinging on swings. It's so cute how much Adley and Niko Bear like swinging on a playground. We decide that we are going to play lava monster hide and seek, with Niko and I hiding first!! The girls look all over for us, but it's not till they take the twisty slide, did they find us! We have some much fun taking turns, boys vs girls, kids vs dad. Sure, we're going to be safe and use hand sanitize, but this was so much fun and really needed.
After getting some lunch and heading back home, we have a super special phone call to make. Just the other day was Down Syndrome awareness day, and my homie Declan, sent me a message saying all he wanted for that day was to talk to me. So i worked my magic and got his number so the whole family could surprise him with a face time! It was so much fun, we chatted about like we were life long friends!! I loved it!
It's such a beautiful day, that we can't help ourselves. We head out to the skatepark where Niko rides his scooter and skateboard, before Adley comes up with a great game, an easter egg hunt. She plans it all out, with Jenny helping, they have a bunch of eggs hidden in the backyard including a special golden egg with a special surprise! Once all is ready, the kiddos head out hunting eggs and sharing the treats they find!!
We end this best day ever with a family walk, finding hidden treasure around our neighborhood, finding a nice cat where there horses used to live, and then deciding the kiddos are dirty and we need to take baths!! So much fun in this best day ever!!
