supply chain management is all about managing the supply of product and the movement of material or product but operations management is all about managing those processes by which the supply of product and movement of material is executed.

Execution is operations.

Operations management plan, execute and lead the processes but supply chain management is a macro mechanism which plan, execute, design and control end to end supply chain.

Objective of operations management is to drive the business model, mapping the processes, manage the processes, evaluate the system and calculate the productivity.

Objective of supply chain management is to create overall value with the help of multiple operations by reducing cost, improve cash flow and by mitigating risk throughout the chain of supply.
