BIOS recovery HP Pavillion 690 Ryzen Gaming PC

A customer dropped off his HP gaming PC that locked up during a BIOS update, and wouldnt boot. Fortunately HP has a BIOS recovery built in, that although slow as hell, recovered the BIOS and made the PC usable again!  If this happens to you, just follow the steps below to get up and running.
On another PC, download the latest BIOS from the HP support website.
Install a flash drive and run the downloaded exe. It will format and write the BIOS files to your flash drive.
Insert the flash drive into a USB port in the HP, then hold Win+B keys, and then press and hold the power button for 3 seconds.
Keep holding the Win+B keys, the PC will beep 8 times, then release the keys, and the BIOS recovery will start.
