Office sounds aplenty in this video!
Some backstory:
This video was filmed on one of those days where you want to put an "Out of Order" sticker on your forehead.
I had been working at a client's premises the entire week and, as you can imagine, come Friday evening, I was ready to embrace the weekend.
But then...
Right before stepping into the elevator, the communications manager called me back into his office.
"The deadline on your project has been moved," he said.
Hopefully, I inquired: "Moved back or, eh, up?"
Without making eye contact and while scribbling something on a piece of paper in front of him, he mumbled: "Let's just say, I hope you didn't make too many plans this weekend."
He left a long silence after that last statement.
Many words started popping into my head.
Unreasonable.
Seriously?
Party pooper.
Career switch.
I pressed my lips together hard, trying to prevent any of those words escaping my mouth.
In the end, I decided to negotiate a compromise: working through the weekend could work, only if I took the following Friday off.
The communications manager agreed.
I drove home with a six-pack of Red Bull. The plan: pour them into my coffee. Activate Beast Mode.

To comfort myself and make the "working overtime" experience somewhat more pleasurable, I filmed part of it. If you're a YouTuber and life hands you lemons, film yourself making lemonade and put it on YouTube as an ASMR video, right? 😉
Something like that.
And maybe it can be helpful for some of you that want company while studying or working. 📚

Anyway, I hope you'll enjoy watching me type on two laptop keyboards, jot things down using a ballpoint pen or pencil, and shuffle some documents.
