Are Your Tires Expired? How To Read The Date Code And Find Out. Did you know your tires have an expiration or best before date? On every tire sold in America there is a date code. The Department of Transportation and the tire companies have recommended that tires be replaced after 6 to 10 years depending on the manufacturer, maintenance, and condition of the tire. In this video I show you how to find and read the date code that is stamped into the tire. You wouldn't buy cream for your coffee that is past the expiration date would you? Why buy tires that are past the best before date for your family to drive on? Please remember to hammer that like button (thumbs up) and torque that red "subscribe" button. All opinions and reviews are my own, and I am not being paid by Snap On Tools or any other tool companies. You will receive an honest opinion from a professional mechanic, with twenty plus years experience who uses the tools daily. Snap on tools are for use in the transportation industry including: automotive, commercial transport, heavy duty, marine, aviation and railway industries. ***If you enjoyed this video or it was helpful, please remember to hammer that “thumbs up” button.
