President Clinton Explains the African Growth and Opportunity Act

Fifteen years ago, President Clinton signed the African Growth and Opportunity Act, a bipartisan bill that increased investment in Africa. But his commitment to Africa didn’t end when he returned to private life. The Clinton Foundation has helped over 85,000 farmers in Malawi, Rwanda, and Tanzania increase their incomes through access to improved seeds and training in agronomic techniques.
