Kawasaki has launched the much-anticipated
Kawasaki has launched the much-anticipated Ninja 300 sports bike in India at Rs 3.43 lakh. The updated motorcycle gets three new colour options - Lime Green, Candy Lime Green, and Metallic Moondust Grey. The sporty graphics now gives the bike a fresh look. As per the manufacturer, the styling has been improved - thanks to the new race-inspired livery. Further, it now also complies to the new (OBII) emission standards.
The mechanical specifications retain the 296cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled eight-valve engine with a fuel-injection system that delivers 38.4bhp and 26.1Nm of peak torque. This motor is linked to a six-speed gearbox that benefits from an assist and slipper clutch mechanism.
The hardware remains unaltered and the 2023 Ninja 300 continues to use a diamond-type frame, telescopic front forks, and a rear mono-shock. The braking setup, too, continues to include petal-type disc brakes on both wheels. It rides on 17-inch alloy wheels that feature a split-style spoke design and come shod in tubeless tyres.
The feature list has been retained from the previous version, and the 2023 Ninja 300 continues to use a halogen-type headlight, bulb-type turn indicators, a semi-digital instrument cluster, and a dual-channel ABS.
The styling changes are limited to the revised colour palette and graphics. Meanwhile, the styling cues retain a twin-pod headlight, full-fairing, clip-on handlebar, split-style seats, and side-slung exhaust. The motorcycle is available in three colours, and they have been priced at Rs. 3,43,000 (ex-showroom, India).
2023 Ninja 300 competes against the likes of the KTM RC 390, TVS Apache RR 310, BMW G 310 RR, and Keeway K300 R.
