This video documents the 7 Coast Guardsmen who gave up their lives trying to assist two fishing vessels in distress at Dry Bay, Alaska on the 19th of May  1944. They were; LTjg Jack E. Shaw, Ensign Aven Anderson, Chief Boatswain Mate Joseph L. King, Motor Machinist Mate 1st Class Jack Orcutt, Boatswain Mate 2nd Class Wallace B. Eigenrauch, Seaman 1st Class Joseph Meindle, and Seaman 1st Class Orren Tupper. A Great piece of Coast Guard History.
