Maximize Toolpath Engagement in High-Speed Toolpaths - What's New in Mastercam 2024

Mastercam 2024 includes a new option for high-speed toolpaths called Maximize Engagement that more aggressively engages the material with a much shorter ramp.  Maximize engagement increases the stepover quickly as it enters the material or turns corners, helping to remove material much more quickly than it otherwise would.  For harder materials this option would not be recommended, but on this aluminum part the resulting dynamic mill toolpath is more efficient.
