Fuji XT3 - 120p Slow Motion Footage

Testing out some more functionality of the Fuji XT3. Wanted to see how the 120p Slow Motion footage would hold up. Also tested the Fuji Log profile. Open the description [click 'show more'] for my thoughts!! #fuji #xt3 #slowmotion GEAR UESD: • Fuji XT3: amzn.to/2SdKG2n • Fuji 23mm F2: amzn.to/2Sh8kuG SETTINGS USED: • 1080p x5 slow motion (120p) • H.265 Compression (10bit 4:2:0) • 23mm F2 • ISO: 640 • Shutter speed: 1/240th • Film Simulation: Fuji Log FUJI LOG: To me, Fuji Log was a bitter disappointment and I won't be using it again. I've always hated log profiles on DSLR cameras and this is no exception.. leave it to cameras that can shoot RAW in higher bit depth such as the RED or Arri cameras. The image falls apart so quickly. It's also really hard to expose and if you under-expose at all YOU ARE SCREWED! There are a couple shots that were a little under-exposed that didn't make the cut because even bringing them up .2 in lumetri exposure added sooo much noise! I initially pushed the grade a lot futher but had massive banding and blocking issues so decided to tone it back and purely use the Fuji LUT provided on their website to go from Fuji Log back to their standard profiles. To me I feel like I would have had better results starting with the standard profile. www.fujifilm.com/support/digital_cameras/software/… 120P SLOWMOTION: As you guys know, I'm a sucker for slow motion and will definitely be using this feature a lot. I really want to test it out again without fuji log and see what I can create. After I test it again I'll give you all my opinion on this camera VS the 1DX Mark II that I used to own.
