Gay and Middle Eastern: My Coming Out Story

Hi, my name’s Yama. I’m gay, and Middle Eastern (Afghan to be specific). I’ve had a long journey for my coming out, and it hasn’t been easy. In my video, I go through my life story a little bit (in regards to being gay), and explain how growing up gay was for me, and how adulthood has been so far. There are still people that do not know about me being gay at the point that I am uploading this video. I know for sure after some of my family sees this video, that they’ll most likely stop talking to me. I have realized that I want to stop living for other people, and live my authentic life to the fullest. At the end of the day, I know that the people that love me for who I am will continue to be in my life. Hope that this video helps some of you. Stay safe ^_^
