In 'I Used To Skate Day Ryan Decenzo & Jordan Hoffart' we search far and long...well not really, just a few block basically, for "Used To Skaters" in Oceanside, California. This time though, there is an extra requirement, you have to used to skate and now drink beer. If they can prove they used to skate, we hand out shirts and boards. Why? Because today, June 22nd 2024, is the first annual #iusedtoskateday (the day after Go Skateboarding Day) and we teamed up with Black Plague Brewing to celebrate! Black Plague ambassadors include Tony Hawk (Hawk Tuah), Nyjah Huston, Ryan Decenzo, Jordan Hoffart, Matt Berger, Aaron "JAWS" Homoki and more. Let's raise a glass to skate days past!
On their journey, the Canadian skateboarding legends open at Classic Blends Barbershop where Ryan did his recent massive frontside flip for an Independent Trucks ad. Jordan tries to prove he can still skate and well...he can't. Ryan and Jordan meet plenty of skaters and used to skaters for lots of sandal kickflips, 360 flips, ollies, nollie heelflips in boots and more. They also visit the handrail that Mark Gonzalez claims was the first handrail EVER attempted by street skateboarding legend and pioneer Natas Kaupus!
