Are you looking for an inventory management solution to help manage your production, raw materials and finished products?
You've come to the right place!
EMERGE App can help you manage your simple manufacturing process with a semi-automated workflow that keeps you in complete control.
Firstly, regardless of the products that you're selling, you need to create the raw materials that go into your product.
At the main menu, click on Products, Raw Materials, and then the Add New Raw Material button.
Enter the name of the raw material and the stock keeping unit or item code.
Then enter its purchase price, stock on hand (if any), the initial cost price and the base unit of measurement.
Click Save once done.
After creating the raw materials that you need, it's time to visit the Products module to set up raw materials for your products.
Here, you can either add a new product or update raw materials for existing products.
Select the raw material checkbox and add the raw materials that you need along with the quantity required.
Click on Add More Raw Material if you need to add more.
Click Save once you're done.
You'll be brought back to the product's screen.
Click on the Produce from Raw Materials button to begin production.
A pop-up window will appear.
Select the production end date. It will show today's date by default.
Enter the cost price per unit and production expense per unit.
Any production expense will be added to the cost price per unit. This sum is used to calculate the finished product cost and the average cost price of the finished product inventory.
Finally, choose the warehouse location to store the final products and the finished product quantity.
Click Produce to manufacture the finished products.
The finished product quantity will be stored in the selected location.
The stock of raw materials for the product will be deducted accordingly during production.
Congratulations! You've just completed the workflow to manage your production, raw materials, and finished products in EMERGE App.
