Chalice Well Art Controversy or Who’s Responsible for Our Trauma?

There has been quite a lot of controversy circulating over the last week after the Chalice Well Gardens trustees decided to remove a favourite art piece, "Mother and Child" by Ganesh, due to the possibility it may create a negative experience for someone. Instead, the Gardens have received much backlash due to this decision. I can't help wondering whether this issue offers the opportunity of exploring how we, as individuals and as a collective, deal with increasing levels of trauma in our society, as well as what happens when we continue to ignore it.
As such, this video comes with its own trigger warning as it mentions: abuse, sexual abuse, child sexual abuse, trauma, negative reactions to trauma.
