Manchester United are open to considering loan offers for Amad Diallo
after his physical recovery, according to the latest transfer news from the club.
Reports indicate that Manchester United are willing to allow Amad Diallo to leave on loan during the January transfer window. Several clubs have shown interest in the 21-year-old, who impressed during his loan spell at Sunderland last season, scoring 14 league goals. Sunderland, among other clubs, had already shown an interest in the player during the summer, before Amad suffered a knee injury in pre-season, thus missing the start of the current season.
Despite the injury, Amad Diallo has been called up to the Ivorian preliminary squad for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations tournament, which starts in January, although his participation is not yet confirmed.
Recent reports over the Christmas period indicate that other clubs, including Everton, Crystal Palace, Fulham and Wolves from the Premier League, are interested in a deal, as well as Championship club Southampton.
Manchester United will face Aston Villa in the Premier League on Boxing Day, providing Amad with the opportunity to be called up by manager Erik ten Hag for the first time since his pre-season injury. Before the game, the United manager said: "I hope Raphael Varane returns. As for the rest, maybe Amad Diallo, we'll see what condition he's in, maybe he can return."
