The business model canvas: from chaos to clarity

I watched a video last week where a super experienced and excellent lecturer was teaching business models at a top business school. However, they didn't use any visuals to help show what they were talking about.

Now, I consider myself to be an expert of business models and I found it really hard to follow what this lecturer was saying. So I can imagine many of the students didn't fully follow either.

It ended up sounding like "blah blah blah" as Dan Roam would say.

So I decided to make this video about the #businessmodelcanvas by Strategyzer because I think it's really important to use visual tools to frame our conversations around business models.

I know it's had a massive impact on the leadership teams I've worked with to help map out their business models.

Everybody in the business starts to understand what they really do as a company and it helps everyone get clear on where they want the company to go to.
