How to Add or Create Desktop shortcut for Ubuntu 20 04 installed Applications

We cannot just drag and drop applications from the Ubuntu launcher to create their desktop shortcuts, the how to add application shortcuts in Ubuntu 20.04 Desktop?  Well, for that we manually have to visit the application folder on our Linux system to copy the .desktop file of an installed application.
