The Cultist is a NEW
The Cultist is a NEW Hybrid Necromancer Build for The Elder Scrolls online Ascending Tide DLC! ALSO due to the brand new PC this video is now in FULL 4k QUALITY!
Due to the way the new scaling of damage stats are designed, it is now MORE than possible to perform with skills of ANY kind regardless of how you are speced. In the past your TWO major stats would contribute to damage. Stam + weapon damage or Mag + spell damage. This is STILL the case if you CHOOSE to however now the game allows for a mind blowing other option. NOW the game scales your damage off of your chosen HIGHEST combined combat stats. Meaning YES you can mix spell damage with stamina or weapon damage with magicka, and still perform perfectly!
This means that instead of having to spec a certain way and be restricted to the skills you can use effectively, they will now function on ANY build spec the same was as unique or dedicated ones.
Meaning as a dps if you are stam/mag built before, you could USE oposing stat skills but they would be weaker. Now they are not. Now it's more about, which pool do you spend from? while still benefitting from the performance.
This build utilized the hell out of this new update allowing for a FULL hybrid. Magicka and stamina skills, physical and magickal weapons, MELEE and RANGED weapons.
There are many "stack and burn never move" builds out there but in every day content when you have to move, generally they cannot reach, so RIP dps. Well this one is made for ALL content.
So stack and burn, high mobility situations, whatever...if you are capable of playing the mechanics, you will reach from any position in the fight. Meaning you are a VIABLE option for damage dealing rather than just being there to fill a slot while running away from meteors doing no damage until you get back in the face of the enemy.
You don't have to be a ranged build to perform in content, but if you have NO range, you limit your potential in mechanics. The game is about balance and this build is FULL of that.
Hard hitting, HIGH aoe damage along side HIGH single target damage, all gear apart from monster sets can be farmed on normal and the rotation is NOT "designed for the dummy". It is designed for CONTENT and works flawlessly so long as you can grasp the simple 10second rotation, that never has to change.
This can slot into ANY group with zero issues, ready straight off the bat, BUT if your group are clever and have specific buffs and bonuses available you can do so much more!
