Get Technical! - Behind the Curtain of Moulin Rouge! The Musical in Sydney/Gadigal

On 1 December 2022, Australian live entertainment company Global Creatures, producer of the 10 Tony Award-winning musical Moulin Rouge! The Musical opened its doors at Sydney's Capitol Theatre for an industry exclusive event. Tailored for high school students from Year 10 and above, University and College students, as well as people with transferable skills.

Australia’s leading theatre practitioners discussed their role within the production and their career pathway. There are a myriad of options and pathways for students to take in order to enter theatre production, this event is designed for students to gain an insight into these different avenues.

Attendees gained an understanding of the different types of technical theatrical positions available within the performing arts industry and the calibre of work that goes on backstage to create a world-class Tony-Award winning production.
