Saving soils and empowering farmers through the Global Soil Doctors Programme

The Global Soil Doctors Programme tackles the urgent issue of soil degradation, a threat to one-third of the world's soils.  Explore the critical link between soil health and our food sources, the innovative solutions offered by the programme, empowering farmers with knowledge and skills to independently address soil degradation issues. Central to its success is the promoter, a local institute bridging the gap between the Global Soil Partnership, local institutions, and farmers, thus proposing effective local solutions. With over 7 000 farmers and 500 certified soil doctors in more than 10 countries,  the programme's impact includes promoting sustainable soil management for healthier crops, increased yields, and improved incomes.
