Tucson Community Projects

Looking back, our trip to Tucson last week highlights a wild yet amazing year for the team at ByFusion. Seeing how far this community has grown, how they've educated themselves on the plastic waste problem, and their willingness to do something about it has been powerful.

By the end of 2022, Tucson will have completed a successful diversion pilot program that diverted approximately 30 tons of plastic waste, built benches in multiple parks, a dumpster enclosure that repurposed several tons of plastic, and laid the groundwork to bring full circularity to the Tucson community's plastic waste in the new year.
