Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 - Not what I was expecting

I had some preconceived ideas about the new Royal Enfield Shotgun based on the marketing by Royal Enfield. I had expected this bike to be some imitation American cruiser aimed purely at the hip and cool youth and believing themselves to be hip and cool, the frothy coffee brigade, though there is nothing wrong with frothy coffee.
