3.) Financial Health
If the supplier is not financially sound, it cannot become a reliable source for the organization.
4.) Past Performance Record
The organization must carefully examine the past performance records of the vendor. If the vendor has maintained good relations with its clients and maintains the level of quality over the year, then it is a good investment to do business with such a vendor.
5.) Mode of Payments
The organization should also consider the supplier having a different payment method system. There are several types of digital modes of payment, such as debit cards and credit cards, cheques, cash, Internet banking, mobile banking, PayPal, etc.
6.) Miscellaneous Factors
In addition to all the above factors, some other factors should also be taken into account like cultural values, expert management, types of technologies used by suppliers, terms and conditions, transportation facility, after-sales services, etc.
