Red fine line in the
Red fine line in the eye just means that the blood vessels of the eye are just enlarged. This can happen because of various reasons. Most of them are because of inflammation in the eye, because the eye reacts to something which has entered the eye or which is there in the body. Commonest among these is allergy and infections. So if you have to remove these red lines, we have to treat the cause. Kindly consult an eye doctor to find out whether this is allergy or infection so that appropriate treatment can be started, the other common cause for red lines in the eye, particularly for those who are travelling so much like marketing professionals or someone who stays indoors, particularly in an air conditioned environment and using a computer is dry eyes. Dry eyes is characterized by appearance of red lines and tiredness, more so in the evening after prolonged work. Again it can be found out only by an eye doctor whether it is dry eyes, allergy or infection. So kindly consult a doctor. Appropriate treatment will be started. Most often in the early cases, the red lines are completely reversible. So when we treat the cause the red lines disappear making the eyes more lustrous, more whiter. So get a treatment as early as possible. Don’t try self-treatment.
