Roald Amundsen, the explorer, had a vision at the age of 10 that he wanted to create an electric ship to visit the polar regions.  Almost 100 years after his death, that vision is being realized.  

Roald Amundsen, the ship, is NOT just a big ice-breaker.  This comfortable expedition vessel not only has fuel cells to power the engines, but many other innovations designed to enhance its sustainability.  There is also a 7-deck high LED image screen in the main atrium, as well as full science center for those that wish to immerse themselves in geology, geography, and biology of the remote places being visited.  Join Bob as he tours the MS Roald Amundsen.
