I know safety eyes seem
I know safety eyes seem to be the most popular choice for crochet amigurumi toys. They can really make your finished dolls look more professional, and oh so cute! However, I struggle to use things like safety eyes because I can’t seem to find the right stitches to go between when installing these things. Oh, don’t get me started on the problems with trying to embroider eyes on a crocheted amigurumi toy🙄.
My solution to these problems is to crochet the eyes out of the yarn and in this video, I’m showing you how I sew them onto my amigurumi puppy dog😁. It might look like there’s a lot going on with two yarn tails to deal with, but I’ll take you through it. I hope you love crocheting these yarn eyes as much as I do. It really makes your amigurumi completely handmade.
