A Special and Exclusive review,
A Special and Exclusive review, and an Inside Trip of the first rake of Mumbai Metro Line 3, the underground metro of Mumbai. The rake arrived in Mumbai in early August 2022 and is currently undergoing trials. There would be an upcoming video about the trials.
Metro Line 3 happens to be the most controversial metro line of Mumbai owing to its metro depot, widely known as the Aarey Carshed which has been in protests regarding environmental concerns. The ground-level truth would be unveiled in upcoming videos of the same series. While the majority of Mumbaikars want Line 3 to become operational as soon as possible, a small part of society tries to derail it from its schedule.
In spite of all these hurdles, MMRC, led by Mrs. Ashwini Bhide, continues the work of the project for the betterment of Mumbaikars and is committed to opening the corridor as soon as possible.
A total of 31 rakes would be in the fleet of line 3. More trains would be received in the upcoming year once the work of the depot proceeds ahead.
