It was a short workday, but an exciting one....we finally got our solar installed! In this video Tia's dad teaches all of us how to properly mount and install the Solar Panel on our Van Build. Andy could not wait to get this panel up and running. We did A LOT of testing of the panel before mounting it to make sure it would produce enough power for us in the van. Once we were satisfied, we decided on our mounting setup. We ultimately went with a roof rack we bought from Amazon, and some cross bars. The panel is bolted directly into the cross bars to ensure we don't lose it! We chose this option rather than attaching it directly to the van in case we ever want to upgrade or change our solar setup in the future.
