Product Portfolio Management | Growth-Share Matrix/BCG Matrix: Explained & Demonstration (Excel)

I explain a product portfolio management concept, namely the growth-share matrix, also known as the BCG matrix, and demonstrate how to create a growth-share matrix in Excel.  The video covers the conceptual basics of the growth-share matrix, including the 4 quadrants of the matrix (stars, question marks, cash cows, and poor dogs), the limitations of the matrix, and how to use it in a strategic and informative way to guide strategic product decisions. At the end of the video, I show how to quickly create a growth-share matrix for multiple products in Excel.
