How to create a free ebook cover for Smashwords using Photoshop

So if you are broke like me and need everything for free or cheap, here's a tutorial for creating your own ebook cover from scratch.
You need to have a basic knowledge of Photoshop as this will give you a general idea of how to create an ebook cover and wont go into the nitty gritties of it.
