Don't miss the 800 pound Gorilla. This is my pet name for a clinical phenomena. It means, Listen and watch the patient, they will give you critical subliminal information, if you pay attention. In this case, I was treating this woman for LB pain, she was hurting in the L buttock area, on this second visit, it no longer had a disc-like flexion intolerant pattern. Corrected L posterior sacrum, released psoas. I though I was done, until she sat on the table and stretched to the right. At that point, I re palpated her lumbar spine, while moving her into flexion, and found that, on the left, L2-3 resisted flexion, rotation and lateral bending to the right. The superior cluneal nerve point, on the L iliac crest, was tender and mildly swollen. Did simple muscle energy correction to L L3, advised her to YAP along that cluneal pathway. http://www.dynamicchiropractic.com/mpacms/dc/article.php?id=57169
