200 AMP SERVICE-RATED DISCONNECT Installation | Brick, New Jersey

In this video you’ll see how a 200 amp service-rated disconnect is installed to an existing electrical service. This disconnect IS REQUIRED by the 2020 Nat’l Electrical Code. Here in New Jersey this edition has yet to be fully adopted. The disconnect in this video is required because the distribution panel is now located in a remote location not “at the closest point of entrance” as required by the code. A license, permit, and inspection is required for this work.
