Our FORZA Alu110 football goals, ground equipment, & training gear score a key role at the ground-breaking home of Cirencester Town.
We paid a visit to the Corinium Stadium, the ground of Evo-Stik Southern League side Cirencester Town, to see how our range of football equipment helped make sure its £500,000 redevelopment project hit the target.
The overhaul at the 4,500-capacity venue saw the traditional grass surface ripped up and replaced with the first advanced 3G astroturf pitch of its kind in the UK, transforming the facility into a community football hub which will be used by the senior team as well as being hired out to local schools, clubs, and 5-a-side leagues too.
We were on hand to capture the first ever training session that the club’s senior squad had on the new pitch, which had been kitted out with a pair our FORZA Alu110 24×8 full-size football goals (https://www.networldsports.co.uk/24-x...) with wheels. Three more pairs of our portable 9-a-side 16x7 FORZA Alu110 goals are also being used at the venue so the 3G surface can easily be divided into small-sided pitches, meaning it can be used 12 months of the year by the local community.
First team manager Charlie Griffin put his squad through their paces, firstly using our full range of fitness equipment like training hurdles, speed ladders, and marker cones to ensure his players were fully warmed-up ahead of an intense session. Our FORZA Flash Pop-Up Goals (https://www.networldsports.co.uk/forz...) proved perfect targets during small-sided games to aid tactical work, with our new FORZA Fusion Astro Ball (https://www.networldsports.co.uk/forz...) easily gliding across the artificial surface.
Then our match-standard FORZA Alu110 goals proved just why Net World Sports is recognised by The FA as a suitable supplier of football goals by withstanding a full-on shooting practice session where the goalposts’ durability – not to mention the reflexes of Polish goalkeeper Mateusz Wieczorek – were thoroughly put to the test.
