In this video, you will explore Fushimi Inari Shrine with me as I hike to the summit of Mt. Inari. If you’re looking for an easy hike in the hills around Kyoto, this Fushimi-Inari hike is a great choice.
Fushimi Inari-taisha (伏見稲荷大社) is the head shrine of the kami Inari, located in Fushimi-ku, Kyoto, Kyoto Prefecture, Japan. Due to the popularity of Inari's division and re-enshrinement, this shrine is said to have as many as 32,000 sub-shrines (分社 bunsha) throughout Japan.
The entrance is close to JR Inari Station and Keihan Fushimi-Inari Station. If you have a JR Pass, take JR Nara Line to JR Inari Station. It is the second station from Kyoto Station along the JR Nara Line.
