Hyperthyroid Cats: Retesting, Hypothyroidism, and Kidneys Post I-131

Once a cat comes home from getting the I-131 radioactive iodine, it's time to think about retesting, when, what to look for, and how to respond. That includes transient or permanent hypothyroidism and when to consider using levothyroxine to protect the kidneys.
