IDI Podcast How to Governance - Sustainability Reporting - Episode 1

Sustainability reporting is emerging as one of the hottest topics in public sector governance. But what exactly is it, and what roles do the public sector and SAIs play in this? Our new podcast, How-to-Governance, dives into the topic of sustainability reporting and explores it together with two exciting guests. In the first part of the podcast, we will be speaking to Nina Johansson, CIPFA’s sustainability expert, on what sustainability reporting actually is, what are the opportunities and challenges for the public sector, and what we should expect from SAIs in that regard.

In the second part, we will see how SAIs can, in fact, lead by example in reporting on their own sustainability performance. We will hear from Mr. Vonani Chauke, Deputy AG of SAI South Africa, on how his institution has been paving the way in sustainability planning and reporting for over a decade.
