Welcome to the video!

This is a 1:12 scale DIY, Easy, dollhouse project making tea lights, candle warmers & votives LED ready using quilling paper, pony beads & fiber optic strands.

The video shows one way to make tea lights, candle warmers & votives for dollhouse miniature.   It is helpful to consider locations for display so you can plan on the light source access & set-up.

Materials List:

1. quilling paper - white, cream, silver or your choice in 1/8 inch strips, (3 inch piece for each tea light & 1 3/8 inch piece for small votive tea light) I used 1/4 silver strips for aluminum cup wraps.

2. tea lights: cut ten 3 inch white pieces, votives: cut two 1 3/8 inch white pieces (adjust for bead interior)

3. tea light exterior: two 1/2 inch silver pieces to look like aluminum cups, 1/4 quilling strip width

4. fiber optic strands - thin about diameter size of quilter or sewing pin, about four inches, end flow filament, 0.25 to 0.5 mm from evandesigns.com or your choice. The strands are strong but can bend or snap, use gently.

5. pony beads - two 6 x 9 mm with 4mm hole for each candle warmer: one clear & other a solid color; or one clear  4 x 7 mm with 2.5mm hole for votive; (need two clear 6 x 9 & two solid and two clear 4 x 7)

6. light power source - lighting kit with warm white chip or nano, compact switch & coin cell holder from evandesigns.com or your choice. Note:  The tea light, candle warmers or votives display area will need an access point below base to light through fiber optic strand. If on a countertop, table, shelf or window sill, drill a hole to place candle over & place light power source under in a drawer or cabinet or the candle warmer back side drilled hole access point to insert. The number of kits depends on your display. The company website has useful videos.

7. optional base ideas - card stock, silver quilling paper strip, pony bead, other beads, wood   The bottom will need to be open so fiber optic strand can receive light.

8. glue - PVA clear drying, E6000 Bead & Jewelry glue

9. toothpicks - for gluing

10. containers - like plastic lids to hold glue

11. clamps

12. tweezers

13. craft knife & mat & scissors

14. stylus & foam piece

15. drill & bit - small, to go through pony bead or base side

16. ruler & pencil
