Many thanks to @randomVHStat who has the only decent copy of these opening titles I can find on YouTube. Marvellously, instead of simply deinterlacing, destroying the undamaged fields and leaving a lot of VHS dropout, they bobbed the 25fps interlaced footage into 50fps to preserve all the available detail. Thank you!
